The Comox Branch offers:

 

  • - A bright, friendly atmosphere;

  • - 3 separate memorabilia filled rooms (Army, Air force and Navy);

  • - A range of BC Lotteries games (Keno, Pacific hold’em, and Pull Tabs);

  • - A games room with a pool table and four dartboards and a variety of dart leagues in the winter months.;

  • - A completely renovated Lounge with delicious food service from Galley 160

  • - Organized card games including euchre crib and gucci cards

  • - Meat Draws on Fridays and Saturdays staring at 2:00 PM;

  • - A refurbished Upper hall ideal for weddings, meetings, banquets and sport tournaments;

  • - Special Events including steak nights, lobster nights, New Years Eve/Levee, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Veterans lunch, Boomers Legacy, drop in darts, Dine and Dance afternoons; BBQ burger nights, annual picnic, members night, Remembrance Day eve Candlelight Service, Remembrance day Parade and open house, Tour de Rock, Victoria Day, July 1st and Nautical Days parades, etc.;

  • - Various sporting events, golf, darts, pool, crib and euchre leagues.

 

Who can join?

 

Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects of federal voting age are eligible to join as voting members. Others are eligible to join as non-voting members.

 Why should I join?

 

By joining you will have the opportunity to make new friends, become involved in branch and community activities, support veterans and ex-service and RCMP members and develop and share your leadership skills. The Legion is one of the largest community service organizations in Canada with more than 360,000 members and approximately 1,500 branches. As a member you are welcome at any branch.

 

How can I join?

 

Membership originates at the local branch level.

You can apply for membership by contacting your local branch, any member thereof or pick up an application form in the lobby at the Lounge.
